I am Mitchell Herbach, an practicing in SF Bay area . While I might physically be present in SF Bay area, I have client relationships throughout the United States as well as in countries such as the United Kingdom, Thailand, Hong Kong, India, Germany and China.

My practice focuses on meeting the needs of individuals and small businesses. I began servicing clients in 1975 on a part time basis because I realized that these groups were not being adequately serviced. They were either going to bookkeeping services or were serviced by larger firms. The former did not have the tax expertise to properly service individuals and small businesses and the larger firms did not have the time to provide adequate customer service. My goal in dealing with my clients is not to merely be an accountant to assist with tax matters but rather to be a business advisor. To provide to every individual I interface with quality advice and superior customer service. I routinely make recommendations that will allow clients to reduce their tax liabilities as well as improve their operating efficiencies.

Since forming my practice, I have assisted a variety of entities such as , legal practices, computer consulting groups, Hollywood consultants, , not for profit organizations, real estate groups and developers, authors, artists, and many other individuals and entities. I have provided them with an array of taxation, accounting and consulting services.

My operating philosophy is to treat every client with the dignity and attention that one would expect of a professional. I believe in the personal touch and routinely make myself available on nights and weekends to better serve the needs of my patrons.
